The Downtowners
Venice MainStreet's good will ambassadors are out on the avenues meeting and greeting visitors to the downtown area. They offer free maps, directories, printed walking tours, flyers on upcoming events and most important, a warm welcome and a smile. The Downtowners all dress in a distinctive Downtowner T-shirt and white straw hat while carrying their information in Venice MainStreet signature shopping bags. This is a volunteer program unique to Venice and is a shining example of the community spirit for which Venice is known. If you have a bit of free time, anything from a couple of hours a month to a few hours a week and would enjoy a little exercise walking our beautiful downtown avenues, then this program is for you!

The Office Staff
Venice MainStreet, Inc. is a 501C3 non profit organization and relies on a dedicated volunteer staff that is vital to accomplishing our mission of Beautification, Cultural Vitality, Historic Preservation and Economic Vitality for downtown Venice. From answering the phones or manning the office to maintaining our information kiosk in Centennial Park or helping sell Venice MainStreet merchandise at the Art Festivals and Craft Fairs your time and efforts will be greatly appreciated.
We tailor your volunteer time with us to suit your interests and availability making it not only a worthwhile endeavor, but fun and interesting too.
